Venezuela

Location: In the northern part of South America, on the coast of Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Capital: Caracas, in central Venezuela.

Tourist Attractions: The Caura River Forest Reserve is an adventure lover's paradise. Apart from the pristine beaches and tropical forests, Venezuela is famous for many other tourist attractions like Angel Falls, the Orinoco Delta, the Andes, and the Caribbean Islands. Each of these destinations showcases the lush natural beauty of the country, making it easy to understand why it has become one of the top travel destinations of 2006-2007.

Access: Venezuela is connected to the rest of South America and major European countries and the US through regular flights. Travel by road is by far the most efficient way of getting around. Venezuela does not have an extensive rail network, but the various means of travel by road take care of that.

Hawaii

Location: The Hawaiian Islands, made up of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Big Island, Lanai and Molokai are part of US Territory. The Islands have a coastline bordering the Atlantic as well as the Pacific Ocean.

Tourist Attractions: The lush Hawaiian Islands are a nature lover's paradise. Owing to its white beaches, blue seas and a warm, tropical climate all year round, Hawaii is one of the top travel destinations of the year 2006-2007. Go dining in one of the many cafes and restaurants of the cities, or head for the beach if you are a water sports enthusiast. Hawaii also has many luxury resorts that make it a honeymooner's paradise. Outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted with the many options for biking, trekking and hiking. The many extinct and dormant volcanoes like the Mauna Kea that dot the islands offer you a tourist destination that is unique to Hawaii.

Access: Regular flights connect the major cities of Hawaii to mainland USA. Some flights also operate between Japan and Hawaii, and between Australia and Hawaii. Cruises also run between US mainland and Hawaiian Islands of Kauai, Maui and Oahu. The Hawaiian Islands are well connected to each other through regular ferry services.
